These terms govern use of Stepworks, provided by IMA Software Group. By creating an organisation or accepting an invitation you agree to them on behalf of yourself and, where you act for a business, that business.
The service
Stepworks provides job management for cleaning businesses: scheduling, checklists with photo evidence, timesheets, contractor statements, quotes and an API. We may change or improve features over time and will give reasonable notice of changes that reduce functionality you rely on.
Accounts and responsibilities
- Keep your sign-in details and API keys secret. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys.
- The business that creates an organisation is responsible for the information it enters, for having the right to collect it, and for telling its workers about location capture.
- Do not use the service to break the law, to store content you have no right to, or to interfere with the service or other customers.
Subscription and payment
The service is provided on a monthly subscription with usage limits shown on the Usage & plan page. Fees are invoiced in Australian dollars and are payable within 14 days unless agreed otherwise. We may suspend an organisation whose invoices are more than 30 days overdue after giving notice. Limits can be adjusted by agreement.
Your data
You own the information you put into Stepworks. We handle it as described in our privacy policy. You can export your records (CSV and PDF) at any time, and on request we will provide an export of your organisation's data within 30 days of the end of your subscription, after which we may delete it.
Availability and support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Support is by email at support@stepworks.com.au during Australian business hours.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded by law.
Ending the agreement
Either party may end the subscription with 30 days' notice. We may end it immediately for a serious breach of these terms. Sections about data, liability and payment of outstanding fees survive termination.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If we update them we will note the date above and, for material changes, notify organisation owners by email.
